ITEM: Gets Ink

PUTNAM, Conn. June 18, 2009 - Charlotte Holberry, a resident of Union, Conn. and a senior at the University of Newcastle, England, has recently joined the team as an intern at ITEM: Creative Group.

Holberry, who is majoring in Media, Culture, and Communications, will work closely with ITEM: Creative Group Director Cindy Sebrell throughout the summer to expand on her knowledge of communications, public relations, and marketing. As sole intern, Holberry will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience within all aspects of PR, including writing press releases, developing media lists, planning special events, and reviewing new business proposals.

“We’re excited to have Charlotte join us this summer,” Sebrell said. “She’s already a valuable asset to the team. With several new clients coming on board, she’s get some great experience.”
